TY Williams, a well-known face in our small town of Wainuiomata. He first started kickboxing at the age of 21 and took to it like a fish in water.
TY was able to secure his first major win from the 2013 King of the ring eight man tournament, an eliminator series that began in 2011 with the winner having to defeat three opponents in one night and also becoming the 2014 World Kickboxing Champion, a huge arduous achievement
TY now has opened his own kickboxing gym, the Ronin Muay Thai Gym and teaches anyone who is interested and willing and who knows….maybe even coming across the next champion to be.
